Hello all,

Firstly, thanks for reading. This started out as a student project and it now has become so much more. Before I begin, I just want to say thank you to all the bands we have, and will have the pleasure and privilege to work with over the time we are active. Also, Kieran (our webmaster) deserves a special mention as without his patience, drive and skill none of this would be possible.

So, welcome to Soundsphere on the web! Your guide to everything rock, electronic, goth and metal in the north of England and worldwide.

We are covering a wide range of musical genres and every week we will bring you some of the best and brightest stars on the northern scene, and we will also get some top international talent while we are at it.

There will be lots of writing, plenty of great bands, features and interviews with bucket loads of dark appeal! This is our campaign to bring alternative culture in the north back to life, kicking and screaming in the most wonderful way possible.
